Raise your steins and join us for an unforgettable afternoon of German-inspired festivities in downtown Lake City!
Lake City Oktoberfest brings the spirit of Munich to the San Juan Mountains with Colorado craft beer, delicious food, live entertainment, beer-sloshing fun, and plenty of friendly competition. Come for the beer, stay for the bragging rights—and maybe test your skills at stein holding, Hammerschlagen, log tossing, and more.

A minimum of 8 teams is required for tournament play. Teams may sign up beginning at noon; entry fees will be collected once the minimum number of teams has been reached.

Know Before You Go
A little planning makes for a much better Oktoberfest! Here are a few things to know before you head to Town Park:
Alcohol & IDs
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for anyone purchasing or consuming alcohol. Please enjoy responsibly, and remember that alcohol must remain within the designated event area.
Leave the Pups at Home
Dogs are not permitted within the Oktoberfest event area.
Outside Food & Drinks
Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Food, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase during the event.
Rain or Shine
Oktoberfest is a rain-or-shine event, and tickets are non-refundable. October weather in the San Juan Mountains can change quickly, so come prepared with layers and appropriate footwear.
Bring a Chair
Seating is limited, so guests are encouraged to bring a lawn or camp chair and settle in for the afternoon.
Families Welcome
Oktoberfest isn't just about the beer! Families are welcome to enjoy the food, live entertainment, games, competitions, and festivities. Children 6 and under receive free admission.
Personal Tents & Canopies
Please leave personal tents, canopies, and shade structures at home so we can keep event areas and walkways clear.
Parking
Free public parking is available throughout downtown Lake City. Please follow posted parking restrictions and be considerate of neighboring homes and businesses.
